ClearEdge is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to design, build, and operate infrastructure for AI-enabled products supporting DoD and government customers. You will own CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, automation, and production operations across hybrid and air-gapped environments, working with infrastructure-as-code, observability, security controls, and AI-assisted tooling. What You'll Do • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools like Terraform and Ansible • Build, package, promote, and operate CI/CD pipelines and containerized application stacks in hybrid (on-premises/cloud) and air-gapped deployment environments • Deploy and manage identity/RBAC, audit logging, encryption, and observability systems in production • Automate configuration management and complex deployment processes using both deterministic scripting and AI-assisted tools • Troubleshoot and remediate deployment, orchestration, and infrastructure issues; support security accreditation activities including RMF/ATO and hardening baselines What You Need • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance; U.S. citizenship required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or 4+ years equivalent experience) • 2–5 years of experience as a DevOps or Software Engineer • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and/or Packer • Strong Linux environment skills, containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD experience • Practical experience deploying and operating applications in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments, including air-gapped deployments • Scripting and automation capability in Python or TypeScript • Strong version control habits and fluency with AI-native IDEs • Understanding of identity/RBAC, audit logging, encryption, and observability in production systems Nice to Have • Systems administration background or SSP accreditation experience • Production observability stack experience • Experience supporting RMF/ATO, hardening baselines, control evidence, and vulnerability remediation • Familiarity with physical security or facility accreditation practices such as ICD 705 • Familiarity with tools used by security and compliance teams ClearEdge offers competitive benefits including $10k annual training and education benefit, 10% 401(k) contribution fully vested on day one, annual health and technology allowances, and access to a state-of-the-art technology lab.
