Description
Capstone Investment Advisors, a leading asset management firm with $12 billion AUM, is seeking a DevOps Engineer based in London to build and maintain robust technology infrastructure. This role serves as a key liaison between technical teams and business users, supporting the firm's critical technology environment with close cooperation with the US team.
What You'll Do
• Administer and support DevOps systems including Puppet, Jenkins, GitHub, and SVN
• Manage software compilation, deployment, and lifecycle management for core application platforms
• Administer and automate Linux systems, including resource management, continuity planning, security operations, and patching/upgrade lifecycle management
• Monitor and troubleshoot core systems, identify solutions to resolve issues, and recommend performance improvements
• Support business and technology development teams with dependency resolution and software testing methodologies
What You Need
• Minimum 3 years' experience in development or IT Operations for a financial services company
• Hands-on experience with multiple DevOps tools and Infrastructure-as-Code systems (Terraform, Puppet, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) and Source Control Management (GitHub, SVN, etc.)
• Scripting proficiency (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business and technical requirements into reproducible and resilient technology systems
Nice to Have
• University degree
• Containerization technologies experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with public cloud management and associated automation (AWS, Azure, etc.)
