AST SpaceMobile is building a global cellular broadband network in space. This DevOps Engineer role supports cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline management, automation, and containerization technologies as part of the Integration and Automation Division. What You'll Do • Manage and maintain Windows Server (2016, 2019) and Windows 11 environments, and support Linux-based systems including Ubuntu 22.04 and RHEL • Own and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancers, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, SNS, ECS, ECR, EKS, Lambda, IAM, and other cloud services • Design, set up, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation • Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for infrastructure deployment • Monitor system and application performance using Grafana and CloudWatch; build alerts and dashboards for system health • Work with Docker for containerization and deploy containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS) • Design and build internal tools and dashboards using HTML, CSS, React JS frontend with Python backend services and PostgreSQL databases What You Need • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role • Strong experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancers, VPC, Route 53, EKS, and ECS • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, and PowerShell • Solid experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Azure DevOps • Experience with infrastructure automation tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Scalr • Hands-on full-stack development experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, and Python-based backends • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases • Understanding of infrastructure monitoring tools such as Grafana • Bachelor's degree (BTech/MCA/MSc) or equivalent Nice to Have • Experience using both relational and non-relational databases • Familiarity with cloud management platforms and governance workflows • Knowledge of AI-assisted development practices
