About the function
Who you are:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in applied computer sciences, applied informatics or a related field.
• +2 years of professional working experience Java/JEE application full-stack development technologies and tools
Technical skills required:
• You will be part of a small dev-ops team of 3 people that will both handle the ongoing support plus new development.
• Work is done in Agile/Sprints.
• Agile tool used is Gitlab, with Git repository.
• Each of the 3 in the dev-ops team have specific expertise knowledge but all need to have the basis knowledge to provide the daily operations.
• The hosting is on a private cloud, with both traditional VMs and next to that Kubernetes container hosting.
• The solution is automated with the use of Ansible scripts.

What we need
• Good Ansible knowledge, and preferably knowledge in Vagrant development tool
• Good Linux knowledge (we use Ubuntu 18.04)
• Development PC, to be able to run VMs on it for development testing
• The terms Kubernetes, Docker and VMware cloud director do not sound strange to you.
• It is an advantage if you have worked with Git(lab), MariaDB, Zabbix.
• A nice bonus if you have knowledge in any of the areas (not a must) Scrum / Agile / Splunk and Forgerock.
• A dev-ops, team working mindset
• And perhaps most importantly, an inquisitive personality that is always open to learn and develop.
