Description
QphoX is looking for a new member to join us in developing and building our quantum transducers. We are looking to expand our team with a Device Design Engineer. As a member of our team, you will help develop and produce the next generation of integrated quantum devices and take their performance to the next level. You will be trained to become part of one of the world’s leading groups in developing microwave to optical transducers.
You will be involved in:
Design implementation for production and R&D of transducers
Device performance monitoring involving
Monitoring of transducer fabrication
Analysis of transducer measurements
Organizing, maintaining and upgrading the codebase for the device design
Automating the design process, gathering and analysing data
Working in collaboration with fabrication, measurement and simulation scientists
You are suitable for this role if you have or are:
Experience with integrated photonics and MEMS device generation and layout
Proficiency with Python
Experience with quality management or quality control
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
An organized and rigorous working style
Master's degree or higher, with relevant work experience in these domains
Supplementary skills set:
Optomechanics experience
Proficiency with GDS Factory and device design.
Experience with ebeam lithography, photonics measurements or MEMS measurements
