ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: The Donor Communications Officer contributes to strategic priorities of the Africa Region by collaborating with team members across the United States and Africa. The officer plays a key role in developing and disseminating organizational messaging in collaboration with development, communications, and conservation colleagues. The officer provides advice and guidance on donor communications and stewardship. The Donor Communications Officer maintains up-to-date, expert knowledge of donor communications tools and practices, applies that knowledge to the organization’s fundraising goals, and acts as a resource for colleagues in development, conservation and more. The officer maintains relationships with closely aligned teams in Marketing Communications and Conservation to ensure consistency of messaging and materials and to foster greater collaboration.
