As a developer for Linux kernel and drivers (m/f/d), you work on innovative software solutions for cutting-edge automotive technologies. For more than 45 years, DSA has been a leader in the development of innovative and customised communication solutions for vehicle electronics. With your expertise, you will contribute to the continuous development of our systems.
Your Tasks
• You develop firmware for devices in the areas of connected vehicles, production runtime systems, vehicle diagnostics and ECU development.
• You drive forward the development and adaptation of kernel drivers for various hardware components.
• With advanced software solutions, you will actively help shape the automotive industry of tomorrow.
• You are involved in the development of innovative software for connected vehicles, which supports the vehicles throughout their entire lifecycle and ensures quality and reliability.
Your Profile
• You have completed a degree in Computer Science or hold a comparable qualification.
• You have initial experience in software development with C and C++ in the embedded sector.
• You have knowledge of some of the following technologies:
• Development environment (GCC, Eclipse, Subversion, GIT, Make, CppUnit)
• Development for Linux kernels and Linux drivers
• Linux bootloaders
• Hardware commissioning
• Distribution creation, e.g. Yocto
• Ideally, you are also familiar with the following topics:
• Linux containers and hypervisor solutions
• Software update processes, e.g. FOTA
• MISRA
• ISO 26262
• You have a passion for the automotive world and for everything to do with modern mobility.
• You value working in an agile team and take responsibility for your work results.
• You have at least a basic knowledge of German and communicate confidently in English, both verbally and in writing.
