Our work depends on a Systems Engineer joining our team to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA. As a Systems Engineer supporting the Government, you will be a part of a team charged with engineering solutions for desktop (physical & virtual) builds for Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems, STIF compliance, life cycle, etc. In this role, a typical day may include: ⦁ Building the strategy for the endpoint environment, including emerging technology, new technical solutions, software, and hardware based on DIA CIO road maps ⦁ Maintaining DISA-approved WIM and Secure Host Baseline (SHB) including testing and transferring to appropriate enclaves ⦁ Downloading, packaging, and deploying Windows and Office Security Updates ⦁ Developing, implementing, and documenting formal configuration guides as needed ⦁ Developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for end user devices, which implement STIG and other device and account controls ⦁ Developing, testing, and deploying desktop images including applications and GPO updates ⦁ Deploying and updating approved packaged applications using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) ⦁ Developing technical support documentation for IT equipment and systems as required
