Description
We’re looking for a Design Engineer specialised in hydraulic and thermal installations who wants to be part of a team that builds projects with real impact. You’ll join a leading engineering company in Bucharest , part of an international group involved in major infrastructure and industrial developments across Europe. In this role, you’ll work on the design and engineering of complex installations for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. You’ll be involved in the design of hydraulic, pneumatic and thermal installations — water systems, compressed air systems, thermal plants, basins and tanks — contributing to the development of layouts and technical solutions, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and using modern digital tools to bring projects from concept to execution. Send us your CV and let’s talk . Responsibilities Develop general and detailed design drawings for ongoing works. Review and correct the drawings produced, ensuring technical accuracy and quality. Calculate and design the core elements of a project, starting from the technical documentation. Prepare and maintain equipment lists . Build and manage a technical database capturing the elements of completed works. Record documents and ensure their traceability . Essential requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar design/engineering role, with hands-on experience in the design of installations — such as hydraulic/water installations, pneumatic/compressed air installations, thermal plants, or basins and tanks . Higher technical education (a specialisation in Hydrotechnics / Building Services / Polytechnic is an advantage). Solid AutoCAD 2D skills and 3D modelling experience — Revit or SolidWorks . Operational English – written and spoken ( French is an additional advantage ). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A keen eye for detail, initiative, and a dynamic, proactive approach.
