Description
Type: Full-time, Permanent
I’m currently working with a leading aerospace client who’s expanding their Design Organisation Approval (DOA) team and looking to bring on experienced professionals with a strong background in Airbus Electrical System Installation (ESI), ideally within the ATA92 perimeter on the A320 programme, but other DOA experience will be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s ready to step into a high-responsibility role with real impact, while enjoying the flexibility of remote working and only occasional travel.
What’s in it for you?
• Remote working as standard, with occasional visits to the Hamburg site
• A place in a fast-growing, DOA-approved organisation with a strong Airbus footprint
• Involvement in cutting-edge work across digitalisation, automation and continuous improvement
• A competitive and negotiable salary package based on your skills and background
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced Airbus design engineer approver with:
• Ideally a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Electrical System Installation, ideally on the A320, but similar experience will be considered.
• Current or recent DOA approval to sign off within ATA928/929 or 923/924/925
• Solid understanding of Airbus design rules, DMU configuration, and tools like CATIA V5, VPM, and CIRCE
• Confidence working across concept studies, trade-offs, bracket design, 3D modelling, and drawing reviews
• Strong decision-making skills, technical leadership, and the ability to troubleshoot complex queries
Desirable extras:
• Experience with other Airbus programmes like A330, A350 or A380
• Familiarity with harness installation, toolset’s like CORELEC, TAKSY, CAPITAL, and safety regulations (EASA Part 21J)
• A Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
If you’re ready for your next challenge in a flexible, forward-thinking environment, I’d love to hear from you.
