Delivery Lead - Cyber Defence ECS
Reading (Hybrid)
£630 p/d (Inside IR35)
A leading UK energy organisation is seeking an experienced Cyber Defence Delivery Lead to lead the delivery of critical cyber security and technology initiatives across a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strong project management and delivery leadership across multiple cyber security workstreams.
• Lead the successful delivery of cyber security programmes, ensuring objectives are met on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Manage project plans, RAID logs, dependencies, financial reporting, and resource coordination.
• Oversee programme budgets of up to £5 million.
• Attend and contribute to governance meetings, steering groups, and executive forums, providing clear delivery updates and recommendations.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Drive risk management, change control, decision-making, and delivery assurance activities.
Experience Required
• Proven experience delivering complex cyber security, cyber defence, or enterprise technology programmes.
• Broad cyber security knowledge across areas such as Security Operations, IAM, Infrastructure Security, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Resilience, and Governance, Risk & Compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging technical teams, senior leaders, and governance boards.
• Experience working within large, regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
