Tmining: 7 pm to 4 am (Drop Facility Available) Responsibilities • Ensure that commercial transactions and related risks are appropriately defined and captured by the Company’s risk systems and risk methodologies. • Interact with commercial teams to collect all necessary information about new deals or deal amendments. • Enter deals on a timely basis into the company’s trading and accounting systems. • Assist in developing processes/procedures to ensure all deal input was done accurately and any subsequent changes are communicated to all parties impacted. • Create end of day New Trades and Deal Changes/Amendments reports to ensure deal capture, positions, price curves, and settlement prices are accurately reflected. • Assist in the setup, configuration and implementation of deal entry processes and systems. • Contribute to the development of the Middle Office team and to the positive working environment at Tricon. Experience & Qualifications • 1-2 years of experience in energy or other commodity businesses preferred. • Bachelor’s degree. • Familiarity working with Excel and some knowledge of database and accounting systems (JD Edwards a plus). • Dynamic interpersonal skills with strong verbal, writing and presentation skills. • Product knowledge in gas, oil, or petrochemical markets preferred. • Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines while paying great attention to details. • Ability to effectively work as part of a team. • Ability to work night shift to support US hours.
