Description
Finance tasks and Reporting Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards (E.g. IFRS/GAAP) Prepare and submit accounts schedule and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors. Oversee the full financial cycle including AR/AP and all accounting processes. Handle bank entries / bank reconciliation / GL entries / payments / financial schedules etc. GST Submission and claims Management company cash flows and optimize working capital Monitor foreign exchange exposures and implement hedging strategies if required. Financial planning and Compliance Develop annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections. Monitor financial performance and prepare variance analysis reports. Provide strategic recommendations to management based on financial data. Implement and maintain robust internal control systems. Ensure adherence to tax regulations, corporate policies and legal requirements. Coordinate audits and regulatory inspections. Team Management & Development Setting KPI's and making sure timely delivery for all tasks for the accounting team. Lead, coach and develop the finance team. Allocate tasks and ensure timely delivery of responsibility Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Partner with other departments to evaluate to improve company processes and policies and cost-saving activities Assist with other ad-hoc financial tasks and projects Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field: CPA or ACCA qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the marine industry. Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws.
