Databricks AWS Platform Engineer
An exciting opportunity for a Databricks AWS Platform Engineer to join a strategic cloud data programme for an international business. You will help shape and enhance a modern Databricks on AWS platform used for large-scale analytics and AI initiatives.
This role is ideal for a consultant who enjoys platform engineering, cloud architecture, and performance optimisation.
What you will do
Engineer and maintain a scalable Databricks on AWS platform
Support platform reliability, security, and cost optimisation
Work on orchestration, access control, and infrastructure best practices
Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams
Improve monitoring, deployment, and platform governance standards
What we are looking for
Strong experience with Databricks in AWS environments
Good understanding of S3, IAM, networking, and cloud security
Experience with infrastructure and platform engineering concepts
Strong Python and SQL knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-moving consulting environment
