Responsibilities Monitor, optimize, and maintain the performance, availability, and security of enterprise database environments. Review T-SQL code before production deployments and identify performance or security improvement opportunities. Troubleshoot database-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with software development teams to improve database design, query performance, and overall application efficiency. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator, SQL Server Database Engineer, or Database Performance Specialist Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or later versions) Advanced knowledge of T-SQL development, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and execution plan analysis Proven experience in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, indexing strategies, and performance optimization Strong understanding of database security, auditing, and best practices Experience reviewing database objects and SQL code before production deployments Experience identifying and resolving database performance bottlenecks and production issues Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server , PostgreSQL , and MongoDB Experience working closely with software development teams to improve database performance and application efficiency Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills Ability to investigate root causes and recommend performance improvements Good English communication skills (reading technical documentation, participating in technical meetings, and delivering presentations when required) Why Oredata?
