Description
Location: Hybrid; 3 days/week in Park Ridge, IL office. Reports To: Director, Value-Based Care Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. Position Overview The Manager, VBC Data & Analytics is a technical and analytical leadership role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers Vitae Health Systems' value-based care programs — including the LEAD ACO. This role reports to the Director, Value-Based Care Operations and serves as the internal expert on all data architecture, feed management, and analytics platform operations related to VBC. This individual will own the end-to-end data pipeline from CMS and other external data sources through to internal reporting and analytics platforms, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and accessible to support program performance, clinical decision-making, and financial oversight. Beyond infrastructure ownership, this role will also support analytics and reporting work — translating data into actionable insights for VBC leadership, clinical partners, and operational stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines technical depth in data engineering and architecture with the analytical fluency to communicate performance insights clearly to non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities: Data Infrastructure & Architecture • Design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure supporting Vitae's VBC programs, including the LEAD ACO — ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with program requirements. • Own the architecture and ongoing management of all CMS data feeds, including claims data, attribution files, quality reporting data, and financial reconciliation files. • Ensure data pipelines from CMS and other external partners are properly configured, monitored, and maintained to deliver accurate and timely data to downstream systems and users. • Partner with IT and any external technology vendors to integrate VBC data infrastructure with the organization's broader analytics and reporting ecosystem. • Document data architecture, pipeline configurations, and data governance protocols; maintain up-to-date technical documentation for all VBC data systems. Analytics Platform Management • Ensure the VBC analytics platform is configured correctly, functioning reliably, and meeting the data access and reporting needs of the VBC team, clinical leadership, and operations. • Manage platform administration, user access, data refresh schedules, and quality assurance processes to maintain platform integrity. • Identify and resolve data quality issues proactively, partnering with upstream data sources and internal stakeholders to remediate root causes. • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the analytics platform as VBC program needs evolve, including new data sources, tools, or reporting capabilities. • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on VBC data systems, fielding technical questions and supporting data-related troubleshooting across the organization. CMS Data Management & Program Compliance • Manage the ingestion, validation, and processing of all CMS-provided data feeds including Shared Savings reports, Claim and Claim Line Feeds (CCLFs), Quality Performance Reports, and beneficiary attribution data. • Ensure data received from CMS is reconciled against internal records and discrepancies are identified, documented, and escalated appropriately. • Support timely submission of data to CMS as required by LEAD ACO program requirements, including quality reporting data and other program deliverables. • Stay current on CMS data specifications, file format changes, and reporting requirement update
