Description
Hartley People Recruitment on behalf of our client in the food manufacturing/production sector are seeking a Data Analyst & Master Planning Coordinator to join a growing team. This is a dual-role position combining data analytics and master planning , with responsibility for driving planning accuracy and operational performance across the site.
You will act as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Navision) , ensuring data integrity while leading the development and execution of the site’s master production plan.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Systems
• Serve as the Navision (Dynamics 365) power user , ensuring data accuracy and system integrity
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making
• Train and support users across the business to ensure consistent system usage
Planning & Coordination
• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process , aligning demand, production, and financial targets
• Develop and maintain a rolling master plan (up to 36 months)
• Work cross-functionally to ensure daily delivery against production plans
Performance & Improvement
• Monitor key KPIs including forecast accuracy, plan vs. actual, production efficiency, CSL, and inventory turnover
• Use data insights to identify and drive process improvements and Lean initiatives
Risk & Compliance
• Identify risks to production and supply plans, implementing mitigation strategies
• Ensure all planning activities comply with food industry standards and regulations
Key Deliverables
• Deliver clear monthly and quarterly planning cycles aligned across departments
• Maintain accurate documentation of plans, schedules, and performance metrics
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the business
Requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Navision) and BI/reporting tools
• 2–3+ years’ experience in production or supply chain planning
• Strong understanding of materials, production, and sales planning processes
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to align operational planning with wider business strategy
• Relevant qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering , or similar
• APICS certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CPSM ) are advantageous
