Depending on your qualifications and experience, we will put together an individual compensation package tailored to you. Your tasks • Design, implement, and continuously enhance detection use cases to improve visibility across customer environments and strengthen the overall security monitoring capability of the Cyber Defense Center • Support the development and expansion of SOC capabilities, including monitoring strategies, operational processes, detection content, and service improvements • Analyze security events, incidents, and threat intelligence data to identify attack patterns, improve detection logic, and strengthen defensive measures against emerging threats • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation technologies within security operations to increase efficiency, improve detection quality, and optimize response workflows • Collaborate closely with Cyber Defense analysts, engineers, and customers to improve monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities while continuously evolving the security operations landscape Your profile • Several years of professional experience (3-5 years) in Cyber Security Architecture, SOC Engineering, Detection Engineering, Security Operations, or Cyber Defense, with a strong focus on building and enhancing security capabilities • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and evolving SOC infrastructures, including security monitoring architectures, SIEM platforms, detection pipelines, automation frameworks, and operational security processes • Strong expertise in developing and optimizing detection use cases, translating attacker techniques into effective detection logic, custom analytics, and actionable security controls • Practical experience with AI-driven security solutions, automation, scripting, and modern cybersecurity technologies, enabling the implementation of scalable and innovative Cyber Defense capabilities • Passion for Cyber Security, continuous learning, and solving complex security challenges through practical experience and technical excellence, certifications such as GCFA, GCFE, GMON, CISSP, OSCP, or comparable qualifications are considered an advantage Dein Kontakt Martina Büchsenmeister Specialist Recruiting & Talent Acquisition +43 664 6285037
