Your new job at a glance — As a Customs Administrator (m/f/d) with a focus on moving logistics and transportation at DACHSER & KOLB in Kempten, you are the expert for customs clearance, import, and export processes. You handle customs declarations, review moving inventories, and ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations. — Your responsibilities: You will use customs software and the ATLAS system, including the preparation of export accompanying documents. You will handle standard customs formalities, such as import processing, T1 procedures, customs tariff classification, declarations, and applications submitted to customs authorities. You will review moving inventories for completeness and plausibility. You will classify goods according to customs tariff requirements. You will prepare and process customs declarations for imports and exports. You will apply exemption provisions, for example for household goods and personal effects in relocation processes. You will communicate with customs authorities regarding inquiries and clarification cases. You will monitor deadlines, such as submission deadlines and presentation deadlines. You will ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations. You will coordinate closely with dispatching and customer service. You will advise internal departments and customers on customs-related matters. You will review customs notices and duty calculations. You will document and file all relevant cases and processes. You will handle special cases, such as vehicles, alcohol, cultural goods, and similar items. — What you should bring: You have completed commercial training and have relevant professional experience in customs and logistics. You have several years of professional experience in customs clearance, import documentation, and export documentation. You have experience using the ATLAS system. You have basic expertise in customs processes and the movement of goods. You have good written and spoken English skills. You work independently and in a structured way.
