Curriculum Leader – Motor Vehicle Permanent | Full Time | Lancashire Area Salary: £44,482 + potential market supplement of up to £4,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Motor Vehicle professional to join a well-established FE College in the Lancashire area as a Curriculum Leader within the Motor Vehicle department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Motor Vehicle education, apprenticeships or industry training who is looking to step into a leadership role within a forward-thinking and growing department. The role will involve leading and supporting a team of lecturers, overseeing quality and curriculum delivery, supporting learner achievement and helping to shape an innovative Motor Vehicle provision with a strong focus on industry standards, EV/Hybrid technologies and employer engagement. The college is investing heavily into its Motor Vehicle provision, including upgraded workshops and modern training facilities, creating an excellent environment for both staff and learners. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support the Motor Vehicle teaching team • Oversee curriculum quality, assessment and internal verification • Monitor learner progress, achievement and retention • Support curriculum planning and continuous improvement • Build strong relationships with employers and apprenticeship partners • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety procedures Requirements: • Recognised teaching qualification • Level 3 or above qualification in Motor Vehicle • Experience teaching or training within Motor Vehicle • Previous leadership, mentoring or curriculum responsibility experience desirable • Strong understanding of FE quality processes and learner support Benefits Include: • Teacher Pension Scheme • Generous annual leave • Enhanced sick pay • Free onsite parking • Ongoing CPD and staff development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative working environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate department and play a key role in developing the next generation of automotive professionals.
