CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist with experience in both CT and X-ray imaging to join a collaborative hospital-based Medical Imaging team. This full-time night shift position is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
•
Perform CT and general radiographic (X-ray) procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
•
Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safe and accurate imaging studies.
•
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
•
Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with regulatory and departmental standards.
•
Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols.
•
Document imaging procedures accurately and maintain complete patient records.
•
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
•
Respond to routine and urgent imaging needs while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.
Qualifications
•
High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
•
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
•
ARRT certification in Radiography with CT certification (ARRT(R)(CT)).
•
Current BLS certification.
•
Experience performing both CT and X-ray procedures.
•
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
Schedule
•
Full-time
•
80 hours per pay period
•
Night shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
