Description
Product Marketing Manager — Credithive About the Role Credithive (Mobihive Labs Limited) is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own margin-focused product design, customer loyalty programs, and e-commerce growth across our device financing markets in Africa (Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana, DRC, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, Rwanda). This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and marketing — translating customer and financial data into programs that improve margins, retention, and revenue. Key Responsibilities Margin-Focused Product Design • Design product and pricing structures (tenors, down payments, segmentation) that improve unit economics and margin. • Analyze loan book and repayment data to identify segments and intervention points that drive profitability. • Work with Finance and Operations to translate margin targets into product-level decisions (tenor lengths, down payment tiers, pricing). Loyalty & Retention Programs • Design and launch CRED-style loyalty programs that reward good repayment behavior and drive customer retention. • Define tiering logic (e.g., based on repayment history, days-past-due, or usage) and the rewards/benefits attached to each tier. • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of loyalty initiatives: concept, business case, pilot, rollout, and iteration based on performance data. Customer Database & Data Infrastructure • Build and maintain a structured customer database that consolidates repayment history, demographics, and engagement data across markets. • Ensure data is clean, usable, and accessible for segmentation, targeting, and reporting. • Partner with Engineering to define data capture requirements and integration points (MDM, telco, and internal systems). E-Commerce Launch & Growth • Own the launch of e-commerce capability — from platform selection/setup through go-live. • Define product listings, pricing, and promotional strategy for device and accessory sales. • Build the go-to-market plan for e-commerce, including customer acquisition and cross-sell into the existing loan customer base. Product & Market Analysis • Conduct customer research and competitor analysis across African fintech/device-financing markets to identify opportunities. • Translate customer pain points and market gaps into product and marketing recommendations. • Monitor KPIs across loyalty, e-commerce, and margin initiatives; build dashboards and reports to track adoption, usage, and financial impact. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to bring initiatives to market. • Partner with country teams to adapt programs to local market dynamics (Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana, Rwanda, and others). • Support customer-facing teams with enablement materials, positioning, and messaging for new programs. Required Skills & Experience • 3–6 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or growth roles, ideally in fintech, lending, or consumer tech. • Demonstrated experience designing or scaling a loyalty/rewards program. • Strong data analysis skills — comfortable working with repayment/transactional data to define segments and measure margin impact. • Experience building or working with customer databases/CRM systems. • Experience launching or operating e-commerce platforms (product listings, pricing, promotions). • Strong understanding of unit economics and how product decisions affect margin. • Excellent stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations. • Strong written and communication skills for both internal alignment and customer-facing materials. • Prior exposure to emerging markets (Africa preferred) is a plus.
