Ogilvy Health is seeking a Creative Director with a strong art direction background to lead creative work on key accounts within our healthcare portfolio. This individual will balance hands-on creative leadership with team development, ensuring both exceptional work and a thriving creative culture.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership
Own and drive creative direction across key accounts, ensuring big, effective ideas that meet client and patient/HCP needs
Bring strong conceptual thinking to every brief—pushing beyond the expected to deliver work that's both strategically sound and creatively distinctive
Maintain hands-on involvement in art direction, from concept through execution, across digital, print, and campaign work
Team Development
Mentor and grow art directors, designers, and copywriters on the team
Foster a collaborative, high-standards creative environment
Provide constructive feedback and creative direction that elevates the work and the people making it
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Client Service to align creative solutions with business objectives and timelines
Work hand-in-hand with Strategy to ensure ideas are rooted in insight and built to perform
Present and defend creative concepts confidently to clients and internal stakeholders
What We're Looking For
8+ years in advertising/agency creative roles, with proven experience as an Art Director progressing into creative leadership
Healthcare/pharma experience preferred (HCP and/or DTC)
A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual and visual storytelling ability
Experience managing and developing junior creative talent
Excellent collaborator who thrives in cross-functional, client-facing environments
Comfortable navigating regulatory/compliance considerations inherent to healthcare marketing
