Glendale Managed Services has revenues of £45 million, operating throughout the UK. Glendale’s activities include grounds management, landscaping, countryside activity including forestry and horticulture. The Opportunity We have long term Countryside and ground maintenance contracts throughout the region. The new contract manager will continue long term relationships whilst developing our people and develop our business in the area. Based at our Exeter depot, the successful candidate will be an experienced and proactive contract manager, able to offer local operational management and support to our customers and service users across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to both develop new business and maintain existing client relationships. Directly managing a small team you will monitor the progress of work, taking quick and effective action to maintain health and safety, high productivity, customer satisfaction and profit targets. Working to clear procedures you will ensure all work meets quality and safety standards across the region for a wide variety of clients. The Person Candidates should be qualified in arboricultural or countryside management with a minimum of 2 years management experience in a similar role. A UK drivers licence is essential.. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, whilst maintaining effective control of costs, programming and monitoring of work are all pivotal to the role. In addition, you will need good time management and administrative skills, and show leadership coupled with excellent communication skills.
