Job Title:  Country Manager, India Term:  Temporary, Full-time (40 hours/week) Department: Strategy & Growth Reports To: Chief of Strategy and Growth Salary Range:  $80,000 - $120,000 annually Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Cochin, Hyderabad or Chennai in India   Position Summary The Country Manager, India serves as International Business University's senior representative in India and is responsible for leading the University's strategic growth, market development, institutional partnerships, and operational presence within the country. The role is accountable for driving student recruitment, developing transnational education (TNE) opportunities, establishing strategic university and government partnerships, expanding employer engagement, and overseeing the operation and compliance of IBU's India office. The Country Manager will act as the principal liaison between IBU and key stakeholders, including universities, government agencies, regulators, accreditation bodies, industry partners, and education agents, ensuring that IBU's strategic objectives are successfully executed within the Indian market.   Key Responsibilities Strategic Market Development University Partnerships & Transnational Education Student Recruitment & Business Development Government Relations & Regulatory Engagement Country Office Management & Regulatory Compliance Employer & Industry Engagement  Partnership Activation Student mobility University Engagement & Outreach Reporting & Performance Management   Key Performance Indicators Performance will be measured against agreed annual objectives, including: Student Recruitment Establishment and successful running of IBU Learning Hubs with Partner Universities Partnership Development Government Engagement Employer Network Development University Engagement Operational & Regulatory Management Qualifications Essential Master's degree in Business, Higher Education, International Education, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years' of directorial experience in higher education, business development, international partnerships, or market development. Demonstrated experience managing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships. Strong understanding of India's higher education and regulatory landscape. Experience working with government agencies and senior institutional leadership. Desirable Experience with transnational education (TNE) initiatives. Experience supporting regulatory approvals or accreditation processes. Knowledge of international higher education quality assurance frameworks.
