Description
We are looking for a talented Country Manager (HQ) to join MD Finance. In this role, you will represent the HQ within our Romanian subsidiaries and take end-to-end ownership of daily operations and business performance. You will lead the setup and scaling of core processes, own the P&L, and ensure that the subsidiaries operate in line with MD Finance standards while meeting local regulatory requirements.
This role involves working on-site in Romania to support the operational and strategic needs of the subsidiaries.

Main Responsibilities :
• P&L responsibility: monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring profitability and liquidity.
• Represent MDfin’s interests within the subsidiaries' companies and ensure adherence to corporate standards and policies.
• Operational management: lead and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Communication and strategic alignment: support effective communication and coordination between MDfin and the Romanian subsidiaries.
• Business scaling and efficiency: participate in business growth initiatives and drive operational efficiency, ensuring that infrastructure remains secure and compliant with group requirements.

• Achievement of financial targets and delivery of a positive P&L result.
• Efficient and transparent operations in full alignment with MDfin’s corporate standards.
• Timely and accurate management reporting to the headquarters.
• Scalable and transparent business processes that support sustainable long-term growth.
Professional Qualifications :
• 5+ years in Fintech and 3+ years of experience in PayDayLoans.
• Proven experience in drivin g P&L; understanding of financial analysis and unit economics.
• Excellent leadership skills; ability to build processes from the ground up.
• English С1, Romanian C1
• Proactive, independent, and results-oriented professional attitude.
