Alongside audit and corporate finance, the tax team has grown in strength and depth and now has capacity to add a Senior Manager and a Manger to the team to manage client portfolios and provide coaching to the enthusiastic young team of NQ’s and trainees. You will work across offices in the West Midlands and Cheltenham, picking up on an exciting range of clients spanning owner managed businesses, local and national charities and quoted international groups. Projects are likely to include areas such as group reorganisations, acquisitions structuring, due diligence, R&D/Patent Box, international tax advice (such as structuring, financing and transfer pricing) capital allowance reviews and compliance reviews, but there is scope to focus on your particular area (alongside your portfolio) of expertise or interest. You will be involved with supporting the partners across the region, liaising with tax specialists, audit and corporate finance colleagues. The ideal candidate will be ACA/CTA qualified, with a strong background in corporate tax advisory and compliance gained in a big 4, top 10, national or local firm, as the workload can be designed around your particular strengths and preferences. The role offers real breadth of work and will suit those who prefer to be involved in all the corporate tax aspects of their clients’ activities.
