About Us Gramian Consultancy is a boutique consultancy specializing in IT professional services and engineering talent solutions. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced US-qualified Corporate Lawyer to support a project focused on improving how advanced AI systems understand corporate, commercial, contractual, and transactional legal matters. You will review legal documents, assess contractual and business risks, draft or refine agreements, and provide clear explanations of complex legal concepts. The work covers areas such as commercial contracts, corporate governance, M&A, compliance, and general counsel matters . Previous AI experience is not required. CONTRACT: Contractor COMMITMENT: Hourly/Part-time LOCATION: Fully remote, United States PROCESS: Application Form -> Legal Expertise Assessment -> Selection HOURLY RATE: $90 - $150/h Responsibilities Review corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for legal accuracy and practical relevance. Draft and revise contracts, policies, and business agreements. Assess key risks, obligations, and enforceability issues under US law. Evaluate AI-generated legal content and identify errors or unsupported conclusions. Explain complex legal concepts in clear, accessible language. Develop realistic legal scenarios, case studies, and document examples. Summarize key legal issues arising in transactions and negotiations. Provide structured feedback to improve legal content quality. Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school. Active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction. At least 5 years of experience in corporate, commercial, or transactional law. Experience drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial agreements. Working knowledge of M&A, contract risk, and US business law.
