Position Description Corporate Communications Manager with responsibility for leading internal and external communications, media relations, digital content, branding and corporate philanthropy initiatives across Hong Kong and overseas market. Partner directly with senior management and business heads to develop strategic messaging, executive communications and bilingual content, while managing reputational risk, stakeholder engagement and the firm’s corporate communications platforms, processes and assets. Key Areas of Responsibilities • Organise employee and stakeholder communications, including global Town Halls, corporate events, executive updates and cross-border communications with parent-company stakeholders. • Partner with senior management and business heads on communications plans, key messages, speeches, staff notes, press releases, marketing credentials and thought-leadership content in English and Chinese. • Help drive branding and corporate identity initiatives by ensuring consistent messaging, visual standards and brand application across communications channels and stakeholder touchpoints. • Manage media relations and reputational risks, including media engagement planning, media training, award pitching, media monitoring, issues escalation and coordination with PR agencies. • Coordinate team workflow and execution to ensure timely follow-through on communications initiatives, media activities and content development. • Assist corporate philanthropy and charitable trust operations, including impact storytelling, partner liaison and initiative launches in Hong Kong. • Manage core communications processes and assets, including media policy and contacts, editorial calendars, vendor contracts and content review workflows. Requirements • Undergraduate degree or higher in communications, marketing, journalism, translation, business, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus. • Minimum eight years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, financial communications, media or marketing preferably in financial services, with prior experience in team management and senior stakeholder engagement. • Excellent English and Mandarin written and spoken communications skills, with strong bilingual editing and message-shaping capability. • Strong understanding of Hong Kong, mainland China and APAC media landscape, communications trends, financial services context. Experience in corporate philanthropy is a plus. • Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders, manage agencies and media, and work confidently across business lines, parent-company teams and external partners.
