Cook Assistant – Weekends Location: Limerick, Cork Department Deli Reporting to: Deli Supervisor Contract type: Part Time, Permanent Working hours: 21-26 hours per week   Company Overview Inver Energy and Amber Petroleum are both part of the Greenergy Group, a leading waste-based renewables manufacturer and international supplier of road fuels. Superior customer service, competitive prices, quality fuels and supporting our local community is what drives our business and teams and we always strive to add value to our customers.   Role Overview Amber Petroleum trading as Inver Energy are currently recruiting for a Cook Assistant in our store in Limerick. The successful candidate must be able to work morning shifts (6.30am-3pm), Saturday & Sunday. The ideal candidate must work well under pressure have previous experience as a Cook Assistant and be familiar with all aspects of this type of work and possess a passion for delivering first class customer service     Key Responsibilities Full HACCP compliance and ensuring safe food handling Maintaining high levels of customer service Continuous improvement of the Deli Have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures Active involvement in receiving deliveries. Keeping up to date with product information and new product lines Fresh foods preparation: salads, sandwiches, soups, etc.  Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitization standards  Assist with monthly inventory as needed  Perform related duties as assigned by management Provide excellent customer service  Possess excellent organisational skills Fast-paced environment  Experienced in preparing and serving high-quality food   Person Specification Qualifications and Experience HACCP  Cooking Experience  Customer Service    Benefits Competitive Salary                                                                Cycle to work scheme              Paid Holiday Leave
