Description
    Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate and mining equipment industry since 1946, is seeking a motivated  Conveyor Belt Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on position is responsible for the installation, splicing, repair, and maintenance of conveyor belt systems at both customer job sites and in our shop. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with travel and physical demands. This role plays a critical part in delivering the high level of service and reliability Kimball Equipment is known for across the Western United States.   Responsibilities: Perform conveyor belt splicing, vulcanizing, and repairs on a variety of conveyor belt systems Install, inspect, and maintain conveyor belts and related components Travel to customer job sites to perform field service work Troubleshoot belt-related issues and recommend repair solutions Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company and industry standards Organize and document service visits, repairs, and maintenance activities Assist with shop fabrication and belt preparation as needed Qualifications: Previous conveyor belt vulcanizing, splicing, or industrial maintenance experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools Ability to handle physical workload in various weather conditions Must be able to lift 50 lbs Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime as required Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and communication skills Valid driver's license required CDL or ability to obtain a CDL preferred Compensation: Pay based on experience Full benefits package including 401(k), PTO, health, dental, vision, and life insurance Company vehicle opportunities for qualified candidates Training and advancement opportunities available
