Our client is seeking an experienced and confident Control Room Team Leader to join their 24/7 operations team. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting into the Operations Manager, with responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a busy control room environment while leading and developing a team of operators.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day control room operations
• Communicate team objectives and performance expectations
• Support training and development initiatives alongside the Operations Manager
• Delegate tasks effectively to maintain a productive working environment
• Conduct regular 1-2-1s and team meetings, providing performance feedback
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and incoming calls as part of daily duties
• Ensure the team is informed of operational updates and business changes
• Maintain service standards, particularly around alarm handling and response times
• Identify operational risks and drive continuous improvement
• Attend regular leadership meetings
About You
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
• High attention to detail with a strong customer service focus
• Comfortable using a range of IT systems
• Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring others
• Flexible approach to working shifts across a 7-day rota
