Contract Talent Sourcer LHH is partnering with a well-established organization in Baltimore, MD seeking a Contract Talent Sourcer to support high-volume hiring initiatives. This upcoming opportunity is ideal for a sourcing professional who thrives on identifying and engaging top talent through creative search strategies and proactive outreach. The successful candidate will play a key role in building strong candidate pipelines for professional, technical, and government contracting (GovCon) positions while partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support critical hiring initiatives. $30-$45 per hour, depending on experience Responsibilities As a Contract Talent Sourcer, you will focus on identifying, attracting, and engaging high-quality talent to support current and future hiring needs. Key responsibilities include:
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates across professional, technical, and government contracting (GovCon) roles. Leverage Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, talent communities, and Boolean search techniques to build diverse candidate pipelines. Conduct proactive outreach and engage passive candidates through personalized messaging and relationship-building. Perform initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, interest, and alignment with open positions. Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, target talent profiles, and market trends. Maintain and organize talent pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM. Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, and recruiting metrics to measure sourcing effectiveness. Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives by identifying talent from a broad range of backgrounds and communities. Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and talent mapping to inform recruiting strategies. Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement. Assist with recruiting projects and process improvements as needed. Qualifications Previous experience supporting government contracting (GovCon) recruiting is required. Proven experience sourcing candidates for government contracting, professional, corporate, technical, or specialized positions. Strong expertise with Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, resume databases, and other sourcing tools. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Excellent candidate engagement and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate candidate records. Ability to work collaboratively with recruiters, hiring managers, and business partners. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-5 years of sourcing or talent acquisition experience. Experience building passive candidate pipelines for government contracting (GovCon), technical, corporate, or other hard-to-fill positions. Experience with Recruiter, modern ATS platforms, and sourcing analytics. Familiarity with HRIS systems, federal contracting environments, and recruiting best practices is a plus.
