Contract Manager at atNorth As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring strong contractual control across project delivery. You will manage contract execution, lead change and claims management processes, and ensure alignment between customer contracts and downstream execution contracts to reduce commercial and delivery risk. You will act as the contractual focal point for delivery projects, ensuring contractual governance, managing risk and supporting project teams in achieving successful commercial and delivery outcomes. Working closely with Project Managers, Procurement, Commercial and Legal teams, you will help drive contractual discipline and support successful execution throughout the project lifecycle. This role is located in the Espoo-area in Finland and reports directly to the Director of Delivery. Key responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of construction contracts, including drafting, review, execution, administration, and close-out Support and participate in contract negotiations with General Contractors and key suppliers Ensure contractual compliance with YSE 1998, international standards, and Finnish construction laws Act as the central point for contract interpretation and provide guidance to project teams Own and structure change management processes, ensuring proper documentation and approval of variations Lead and support claims management (EOT, cost claims), including preparation of positions and supporting documentation Monitor contract performance, proactively identifying risks, gaps, deviations, and opportunities Maintain project-level contract risk registers and ensure transparency of contractual exposure and reporting Ensure alignment between customer contracts and downstream GC/supplier agreements, translating requirements into executable scopes and obligations Drive effective stakeholder collaboration (Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Legal), while supporting continuous improvement of contract processes, templates, and best practices Your profile: You are an experienced professional with a strong background in contract management within construction or infrastructure projects. You have a clear understanding of both customer-side and contractor-side contracts and can effectively bridge requirements between them. You are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced project environments. You bring strong analytical and negotiation skills and can effectively support project teams in managing contractual risks and obligations. You are proactive, commercially minded and capable of balancing contractual protection with practical project execution. You are comfortable influencing stakeholders and navigating complex contractual environments while maintaining a collaborative approach. Background & Experience: Degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). 7+ years of experience in contract management, commercial
