POSITION SUMMARY The Content & Social Media Manager is responsible for building and growing ProCaps Laboratories’ organic social media presence and supporting paid social execution across Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and other platforms . This is a foundational role — the first dedicated social hire — and is expected to establish content rhythms, community engagement practices, reporting frameworks, and the systems needed to scale ProCaps’ social channels over time, as well as shape content strategy over time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor who writes well, understands brand voice, can direct creative teams to produce content that performs, and can collaborate with the founder on content creation . They are comfortable managing community engagement, reading performance data, creating content when needed, and coordinating closely with the DTC & Performance Marketing Manager on paid social execution. As the brand grows into TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, and LinkedIn, this person will help evaluate, prioritize, and lead that expansion. Requirements WHAT YOU BRING (MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS) Bachelor's Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field 6-10 years of experience in social media marketing with hands-on channel management Demonstrated experience growing an Instagram presence - organic and paid Experience developing and scaling educational content initiatives across YouTube or other video-first platforms, including audience growth and content programming. Experience managing or supporting founder-led, executive, practitioner, or personality-driven social media accounts Comfortable directing creative teams for content production Strong community management skills with a customer-first mindset Analytical — able to read platform data and translate it into content decisions Experience using social scheduling, analytics, or social media management platforms Preferred Qualifications Experience in nutraceuticals, supplements, functional food, wellness, or healthcare-adjacent brands Experience sourcing, briefing, and managing creators and/or UGC content Familiarity with TikTok, Reddit community management, YouTube content strategy, or LinkedIn employer branding Experience working in regulated industries with content compliance considerations Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Canva, Google Analytics, or similar platforms SUCCESS METRICS Success in this role will be measured by: Consistent execution of the content calendar and publishing cadence Growth in social audience size and engagement rates Quality and responsiveness of community management Growth and performance of founder-led content initiatives Improvement in organic reach and content engagement Contribution of social media traffic and engagement to broader marketing objectives Establishment of scalable social media processes, reporting frameworks, and operating standards WHAT YOU’LL DO (ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES) Organic Social — Instagram & Facebook Own and manage the organic content calendar across Instagram and Facebook Guide caption writing and creative assets while ensuring all content reflects the founder’s educational voice and brand standards Direct the internal creative/videographer team for Reels, static posts, Stories, and campaign content Create social content directly when needed, including copywriting, simple graphic creation, story content, and mobile-first content capture Manage community engagement — respond to DMs, comments, and mentions in a timely, on-brand manner Develop and maintain a consistent posting cadence with a mix of educational, promotional, and community-driven content Monitor social conversations, audience sentiment, competitor activity, and emerging wellness trends to identify content opportunities
