The career you want without compromise We are currently building a panel of leading funds and asset management lawyers who work in asset management divisions of the world’s leading financial institutions, private bank businesses and global and regional investment funds. If you are a highly-skilled and self-driven lawyer with top tier technical experience in these areas then we are keen to hear from you: • fund formation and establishment (retail, private and alternative investment fund structures) • fund offerings • registration • distribution and marketing • investment management (fund investments, custody and prime brokerage agreements) • regulatory and compliance Key requirements • A right to work and reside in Singapore • Qualification to practice in at least one of England & Wales, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia • Prepared to set up a Personal Services Company – for more information, please view our Hong Kong guide at www.peerpoint.com • A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm in this field • In-house legal experience at leading financial services institutions/corporates preferred (directly or as a secondee) • Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant • Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally • Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment • Strong commercial/business acumen • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible • Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy More variety. More control. There really is no limit to the diversity of high-level work open to you. Client assignments can range from stepping into a team to support a project to taking on a senior manager role working on major transactions, regulatory change projects or implementation. Assignments are usually two to six months in duration and tend to require you work a minimum of four days per week. Types of roles consultants will be considered for in the next four months include: • increased resources at a global asset management firm for six months • increased resources by the private wealth arm of a global financial institution for at least six months • cover for the parental leave of a senior team member in the asset management arm of a European private bank
