On behalf of a leading private hospital in Dubai, we are seeking a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist for a contract of at least 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The hospital is part of a well-established international healthcare group known for its high clinical standards, modern facilities, and excellent reputation. The patient population consists largely of international, European, and VIP patients who expect outstanding clinical care, communication, and service. The position offers an annual salary of approximately €220,000–250,000, with the possibility of tax-free income, in addition to performance-based bonuses and commission on procedures performed. About the role As a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist, you will work across both obstetrics and gynecology in a modern private hospital environment. Your responsibilities will include antenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic consultations, and surgical procedures. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong obstetric experience and a robust surgical background. The hospital places a strong emphasis on patient safety, quality of care, and patient experience. You will work closely with midwives, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists within an international multidisciplinary team. Typical responsibilities Antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care Management of routine and high-risk pregnancies Management of normal and complex deliveries Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions Outpatient consultations in obstetrics and gynecology Gynecologic surgical procedures Assessment and management of acute obstetric and gynecologic cases Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals Contributing to high levels of patient satisfaction and quality of care We are looking for someone who Is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology Has a minimum of three years of experience at consultant level following specialist qualification Has strong clinical experience in obstetrics Has broad surgical experience and can provide a comprehensive surgical logbook demonstrating procedural competency Is female, as this is a requirement specified by the employer Has excellent English communication skills Communicates confidently with patients and colleagues Has a professional presentation and strong patient-centered approach Thrives in an international working environment Preferred candidate background We are particularly interested in candidates who completed their specialist training and currently hold specialist recognition in one of the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Ireland, the United Kingdom (with CCT), Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, or South Korea. These qualifications are highly regarded within the UAE licensing framework and typically allow for a streamlined licensing process.
