Description
In order to work in Ireland a non-EEA National, unless they are exempted, must hold a valid employment permit. The Concrete Lead Foreman will lead and supervise concrete crews, coordinate daily activities, liaise with site management and subcontractors, and ensure work is delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, programme requirements, and health and safety standards. Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman, Lead Foreman, Chargehand, or similar senior concrete construction role. Strong practical knowledge of concrete construction and associated works. Experience leading and managing concrete crews on active construction sites. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and curing. Ability to coordinate concrete pours and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Good knowledge of construction health and safety requirements. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with site management, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding project programmes. Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail. Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship. Relevant construction qualifications or trade experience are desirable. Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required. Additional relevant safety or supervisory qualifications are an advantage.
