Description
Concrete Finisher Immel Construction is seeking an experienced and reliable Concrete Finisher that would be responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction with high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: ·       Prepare job sites by setting forms, compacting subgrade, and placing rebar or mesh as needed. ·       Pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces, such as floors, sidewalks, parking lots, or curbs using hand and power tools. ·       Cut joints with a groover or saw to help control cracking. ·       Apply curing agents and sealants as required. ·       Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to meet required grades and finishes. ·       Operate equipment such as skid steers, power trowels, screeds, rider and concrete saws. ·       Maintain a safe and clean worksite, following all safety procedures and regulations. ·       Assist with general labor tasks as required. Qualifications: ·       Proven experience as a concrete finisher or similar role in the construction industry. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction. • Knowledge of concrete types, finishing techniques, tools, and materials. • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions. • Valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods. • Comfortable working in outdoor and potentially hazardous environments.
