Position: Component Durability Lab Engineer
Working Location: HaiPhong

Job Descriptions:
• Operation: Team work with current team to carry out the test cases, set up the equipment, mechanical parts….
• Manage day-to-day operations of the component durability lab, including scheduling and conducting tests on the 6-channel rig, BIW tests, and window/door opening-closing durability assessments.
• Test Protocol Development: Develop and implement robust test protocols to accurately simulate real-world usage conditions for various vehicle components.
• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment to ensure consistent and reliable results.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test data, generate detailed reports, and provide insights to project teams for component improvement.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards in testing accuracy, ensuring adherence to internal and external compliance and quality guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work with design, engineering, and R&D teams to align testing activities with development milestones and project requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in testing technology and methodologies to enhance lab capabilities and efficiency.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in vehicle dynamics testing or related areas, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency with dynamometer testing systems, vehicle data acquisition tools, and performance analysis software.
• Proficiency in mechanical testing of vehicle components, experience with 6-channel rigs, BIW, and other durability rigs. Familiarity with data acquisition systems and analysis tools.
• Knowledge and understanding in ISO 9001, ISO 17025 systems.
• Relevant industry certifications in automotive testing or engineering (preferred).
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills - English language - speak, read and write.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) & analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
