Description
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Compliance Operations Manager for a Property Management Company based in North London. The company partners closely with local authorities to manage portfolios of social housing properties. This is a permanent position, paying £45,000-£50,000 perannum. This is an office-based position, and working hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday. The role: · To ensure that all social housing properties andblocks managed meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and regulatory performance, and that contractual obligations are met · Maintain compliance with all property and block management regulations, including health and safety, gas safety, electrical safety, fire safety, water hygiene, and council-specific compliance · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance certificates, safety checks, and inspection reports · Coordinate and schedule mandatory safetyinspections including gas safety checks, electrical installation conditionreports (EICR), fire risk assessments, and legionella risk assessments · Ensure all relevant properties have appropriateproperty licenses in place where necessary, including HMO licenses, selectivelicensing, and additional licensing schemes · Ensure the company meets all compliancerequirements within contracts and frameworks entered unto with social housingpartners, landlord, local authorities, and other stakeholders · Manage external contractors, engineers, andservice providers to ensure timely completion of compliance-related works What you need: · Experiencemanaging housing or property compliance operations · Strong knowledge of UK housing safety and licensing legislation · Experience managing teams and large property portfolios · Experienceof partnering with London Local Authorities would be beneficial Thank you!
