Compliance Analyst (Residing / Located in Malta / Hold an EU Passport)
Overview:
To assist the Compliance Manager to ensure Compliance with all Applicable Regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the Bank's Compliance Obligations to the Various Laws, Rules and Regulations, including Banking
• Support in the Maintenance, Improvement and Introduction of Controls to Mitigate Compliance Risks.
• Support Compliance Monitoring and Testing and Analysis of the results identifying any Deficiencies.
• Escalate appropriate concerns to the Compliance Manager.
• Assisting in the Implementation of New Tests and/or Reviews.
• Support the Bank in maintaining a sound Compliance Framework, including an up-to-date Compliance Register.
• Work to achieve increased Compliance Awareness and maintain a strong Compliance Culture across the Organisation.
• Assist generally the Compliance Manager, including with ad-hoc projects or tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
• Banking and/or Finance and/or Law related Qualification from a Reputable European University or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in a Similar Role.
• Good Knowledge of Maltese and European Banking Legislation including Banking Rules.
• Strong Organizational Abilities.
• Ability to Work under Pressure.
• Being Meticulous and Attentive to Detail.
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English).
• Proficiency in using MS Office Applications – especially MS Excel.
