Description
Location: Truro
We are seeking an additional team member to join our Gateway team, who provides a ‘first point of contact’ service to the people who access our organisation through the helpline, in person or via email or social media.
The role will involve actively listening to their conversation, assessing their circumstances, identifying a range of solutions and supporting the person to access the most appropriate option or range of options for their needs through a focussed, guided conversation. The role will also specialise in End of Life triage, providing a compassionate and accessible first point of contact for individuals approaching End of Life and their families .

This role would suit someone with strong interpersonal skills who can provide guidance, reassurance and decision-making support to our helpline. I f you are creative, dedicated with a passion to improving the Health and Well-being of people and their communities, we would love to hear from you. A full driving licence and access to a car is essential for the purpose of completing home visits to individuals approaching End of Life if required, as well as attending events and running a stand .
