Community Engagement Intern (Fall 2026) Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Department: Policy and Advocacy Deadline date: August 14, 2026 Apply for this Job Share this page About the Internship Interns with the Community Engagement Manager, will gain hands-on experience in grassroots organizing, coalition building, and community outreach strategy in support of ACLU of Georgia’s advocacy priorities. They will support active community engagement campaigns, contribute to activist and advocacy programs, and assist with outreach efforts across the state. This internship is a good fit for students interested in civil rights advocacy, community organizing, strategy, or nonprofit campaign work who are looking to build practical skills in a mission-driven environment. Requirements This position requires in-person work, though there is some flexibility for remote tasks. Applicants should have strong research and writing skills, a high attention to detail, and an interest in civil liberties, a specific interest in voting rights in preferred. The internship this term will offer academic credit only. Individual schedules will be arranged with intern supervisors. Application All applicants must submit a resume.
