The Communications Story Gatherer plays a key role in ensuring FamilyLife’s narrative reflects real lives changed through the gospel and connects audiences to the ministry’s mission and impact. Job Duties: • Build and maintain relationships across FamilyLife to identify and collect life-change stories from staff, partners, and participants. • Conduct interviews and intake conversations to capture firsthand experiences that reflect FamilyLife’s mission and values. • Document stories in clear, accurate formats that capture context, emotion, and impact. • Enter and organize stories in the central repository using established metadata, tags, and indexing standards. • Maintain consistency and accuracy in story cataloging to support searchability and cross-departmental use. • Collaborate with Communications, Development, and Creative teams to prioritize stories for active use in campaigns, donor engagement, and public storytelling. • Support ongoing maintenance of repository structure, tagging systems, and workflows in partnership with the Manager of StoryKeepers. • Ensure a consistent inflow of new stories representing diverse audiences, geographies, and ministry programs. • Track and report on story pipeline metrics, including collection volume, usage frequency, and source diversity. • Handle sensitive information with care, discernment, and confidentiality.
