Our Communications & Policy team crafts compelling stories, builds meaningful relationships with stakeholders, and navigates complex regulatory landscapes to support our marketplace of consumers, riders, and restaurant partners. We’re looking for a Communications Associate - UAE National to support the Head of Communications in driving the development and execution of integrated consumer and corporate communications strategies. This role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple work streams while ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: - Support the development and delivery of quarterly communications plans and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business priorities. - Coordination of quarterly functional updates to ensure readiness and alignment ahead of planning cycles. - Coordinate with regional and global teams on shared initiatives, reporting, and requests. - Liaise regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of communications plans. - Support the development and execution of CSR and community programs. - Coordinate with NGOs, charity partners, and relevant stakeholders to deliver initiatives effectively. - Execute assigned communications initiatives across both consumer and corporate streams. - Coordinate day-to-day delivery with agency partners, ensuring timelines, quality, and outputs are met. - Support the rollout of campaigns, announcements, and initiatives. - Manage logistics and coordination for partnerships, activations, media engagements, and public-facing initiatives. - Support prioritisation of incoming communications requests based on business impact and urgency. - Support the development of communications materials including press releases and spokespeople interviews and internal comms updates. - Support executive and leadership communications where required. - Monitor media coverage and flag relevant opportunities, risks, or emerging issues. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date reporting, including weekly coverage reports and global updates, work-in-progress (WIP) trackers, and monthly All Hands and Newsroom updates. - Review incoming press queries via the press inbox, ensuring timely responses or escalation. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others: - Strong written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills, with attention to detail and tone. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills. - Ability to simplify complex information into clear, structured messaging. - High level of organisation and ownership. - Ability to exercise editorial judgement and prioritise competing communications requests.
