What's the role? The official job title is Commercial Specialist - MantaDesign and will be based in our Paris office. This role will support the Head of MantaDesign in performing Time and Motion estimations for ocean-bottom seismic programs to support tendering, sales, and ongoing operational scenario analyses. Key responsibilities include: Perform initial review of client documentation to determine survey requirements. Collaborate with Technical, Operations, Sales, and Commercial departments to collect requirements, clarify project context, and secure the input parameters needed for Time and Motion Analysis. Construct GIS model of projects, including analysis of the environment (slopes, sea bottom conditions, weather, currents). Perform comprehensive Time and Motion Analyses of project activities and develop optimized execution strategies that ensure the most efficient use of available resource. Brainstorm alternative operational plans or survey designs to add value to our offerings. Generate and maintain presentation materials to support productivity review processes and interdepartmental initiatives. Undertake quality control checks and technical validations of Time and Motion Analyses produced by the MantaDesign team Participate in meetings with clients to support the Sales effort, as required. Actively participate in productivity reviews and handover meetings with management team. Engage in ongoing process and tool improvements. Who are we looking for? Master’s degree or Ecole d’ingénieur. Strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Hydrodynamics, Surveying, Seismic Operations, ROV/AUV Technologies, or Subsea Engineering would be preferred. Experience in offshore industry is a plus. Experience in sales and bid support is a plus. Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite of programs. Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines. Strong English verbal and written communications skills. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task in a challenging environment. Team player. Willingness to travel and visit offshore crews for personal development.
