Requirements Proven experience in commercial insurance sales, with a solid understanding of commercial lines (e.g., property, general liability, workers' compensation, etc.) A track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Active property and casualty insurance license. Additional certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM, or CPCU) can be a plus. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and build long-term relationships. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, underwriters, and team members. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to assess and address clients' needs. Proficient in using insurance software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Deep understanding of commercial insurance policies, terms, and coverage options. Familiarity with underwriting processes and risk assessment. Knowledge of current market trends and industry changes. Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards. A bachelor's degree is often preferred, though not always required. A background in business, finance, or a related field can be advantageous.
