About the Role Allied Mechanical is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role covers diagnostics, repair, and maintenance across commercial and industrial HVAC systems. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to keep systems running at peak performance Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC equipment Repair or replace components including motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats Read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals Keep clients and teammates informed on service findings and next steps Log service work accurately, including parts used and system condition Follow all safety, code, and company compliance requirements Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical training a plus 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role Solid grasp of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components EPA 608 certification Ability to read technical documents and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with ability to travel between job sites Preferred: NATE certification or equivalent Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment Comfort using digital service tools and mobile work order platforms Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and certification support Why Allied Mechanical Join a team known for precision fabrication, dependable service, and hands-on technical expertise across commercial and industrial HVAC work.
