The Role: This newly created role brings you the opportunity to make a real mark on our fast-growing brand. You'll be the one making sure our sales growth, promotional activity, marketing investment, pricing decisions and exciting new product launches all deliver profitable, sustainable returns. You will be working collaboratively with commercial teams – business partnering with the Sales, Innovation and Marketing functions. Working closely with our CFO, you'll help steer smart commercial decisions and shape how we invest across customer and consumer and you'll build the commercial financial models that make it easy to see what's really working (before and after investment), from promotions and JBPs to Trade and Consumer marketing. Key Responsibilities: Finance Business Partneringo • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Innovation and other commercial teams. • Challenge and support commercial decisions. • Provide financial insight to drive profitable revenue growth. • Influence stakeholders on pricing, promotions and investment decisions. Budgeting and Forecasting • Lead commercial budgeting and forecasting processes. • Develop sales and margin forecasts. • Identify risks and opportunities against plan. • Ensure financial targets are realistic and achievable. Trade Investment & Promotional Analysis • Evaluate promotional activity before and after execution. • Assess ROI of customer investments and marketing spend. • Support Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key retailers and distributors • Optimise trade spend to maximise profitability. Revenue Growth Management (RGM) • Support pricing strategy and customer profitability analysis. • Analyse sales mix, margins and price elasticity. • Recommend actions to improve net sales value (NSV) and gross margin. • Identify growth opportunities across customers, distributors and channels. Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis • Own monthly commercial performance reports insight • Analyse volume, revenue and margin variances to deliver key insights • Monitor KPIs and communicate performance trends. • Provide actionable insights to senior management. Cost Control & Governance • Manage commercial investment budgets. • Ensure accurate accruals and prepayments. • Support period-end close activities. • Maintain strong financial controls and governance • Assist with audit work related to commercial accruals. New Product Development (NPD) • Support innovation projects with business cases and P&Ls. • Evaluate new product profitability. • Assess launch performance against expectations. • Provide financial input to stage-gate approval processes. Team Leadership • Manage and develop the two Commercial Finance Analysts • Build commercial finance capability across the organisation. • Improve financial understanding among non-finance stakeholders. • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives. • Contribute to the Brighter Future Sustainability Strategy and company's linked OKRs. • Support your function and any direct report(s) to contribute too. What You'll Bring Essential: • FMCG experience within branded food and drink • International experience, including working in a business that sells through international retailers and distributors • Proven Revenue Growth Management experience - you know how to price and promote to genuinely maximise value • Experience developing and leading a team - a genuine, motivating people leader • Strong commercial acumen • Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills • Confident business partnering, influencing and stakeholder management • Forecasting and analytical expertise • A professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) Ideally, you'll also bring: • Familiarity with UK, European, US and ANZ markets Some of the benefits of working here include: Little Moons is a fast-growing and dynamic business, the nature of which means roles and responsibilities can change and grow quickly and at scale.
